Cue the Celebration Song

It finally happened... what we've been waiting for... Fall semester is OVER! Woohoo! This semester was really hard for so many reasons. But, I guess the stress factor proved to be useful for our study habits because it looks like we'll be getting really good grades -- maybe even straight A's! We are happy that our hard work has paid off. We celebrated tonight with our traditional Martinelli's toast and some yummy treats. It feels good to just relax for a little bit.

Prior to our celebratory festivities, we made a monumental trip to Wal-mart. Holy cow. We had the duty to buy all the food we needed for Christmas dinner and beyond for all the Beck clan. Shopping for 5 times the amount we are used to shopping for was difficult to comprehend. We have never gotten anywhere close to spending that much money for groceries. The receipt was like 2 feet long! We even needed two carts to wheel it out to the car and of course we were pushing them in the snow and ice! It was quite the experience to say the least. We had fun.

In other news, Momma and Papa McGhee were in town for a few days. They brought along Cayden, our nephew, and we had a lot of fun while they were here. Highlights include: sledding, drawing, Cayden falling off the couch onto Rebekah in the middle of the night, playing the Wii, going to Tucano's for birthday dinners, visiting Grandma and Grandpa Folsom, and just being together.

Pictures are coming soon!

In the meantime - enjoy your last minute shopping & treat-making, and have a very Merry Christmas!
