Finally A Break!

We officially need a break from school. Spring term classes just finished yesterday and we are pretty burnt-out. But, we did do well and got all A's in our classes. To celebrate, of course, we went and got slurpees. These pictures are kind of fuzzy, but Skyler is SUPER excited.

Some friends asked us to be their fish-sitters for the weekend. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty nervous about it. The goldfish is 2 years old and I'm afraid that we'll be the ones who watch it finally pass on. Just have to make it 24 hours - hang in there fishie! Her name is Belle, she's a princess and our new friend.

This weekend will be pretty relaxed. We'll both start working fulltime on Monday trying to save up for our trips this summer.... we can't wait! Happy Summer!

International Night Returns

We haven't had an international night for awhile so we decided to go out on a date to the Himalayan Festival at the Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork. The festival featured performing arts by people from all over the world. There was music, dancing, drama, and food. We learned a lot about the Hindu religion. They had a llama farm! We also saw peacocks and parrots- pretty cool. It was a really fun. Here are a few pictures:

Kinda crazy that there's this amazing Hindu temple in Utah, who would've thought?

Zoi geen! Adios! Tchau! Au revoir! Auf wiedersehen! Sayonara! Arrivederci! Tot ziens! Farewell friends!

STRIKE!

We've made some really good friends in our ward this year. Sadly, as in all BYU wards, people move out and move on with their lives. We've enjoyed hanging out with the Johnsons and the Stewarts. Ben and Kelly moved out a last weekend to Pittsburgh, PA. We were sad to see them go, but are excited for them! We all had a last hurrah before they left. Here are some pictures of our bowling outing:

Silly Mark and Debra!

Daww! We're sure going to miss Ben and Kelly!

Rebekah complains that Skyler never smiles for real...

Everybody in their best bowling poses!

Don't Forget, Wear Sunscreen!

We have declared this the summer of slurpees. We've rewarded ourselves a few times this summer with slurpees at 7-eleven and just can't get enough. Skyler loves his wild cherry and Rebekah enjoys her peach-mango. So refreshing.

In other news, we are enjoying our summer. We only have 2 more weeks of spring term classes and then finals. It's been a good semester but we're excited to have a break. Skyler's intramural job is also coming to a close with tournament games going on all this week and next. He has high hopes for his softball team to go the distance and win a champion's t-shirt. Rebekah has also had fun playing on a kickball team with friends from our old ward.

This past weekend we got our first sunburns of the summer. We were outside all day umpiring intramurals (Skyler), volunteering at the Special Olympics (Rebekah), swimming with Johanita and Jeraldine, and playing with the girls at the playground. You can't really tell from this picture but our faces got pretty red! Ouch!

Current Dart Score: Rebekah 7068, Skyler 6780
